Briefing:

At the beginning of 2003, numerous cases of abuse and torture of prisoners in the Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq were carried out by personnel of the 372nd Military Police Company of the U.S. Army Reserve, agents of the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and military contractors involved in the occupation of Iraq.

Solution:

To shed light on this problem, we created a graphic campaign with the concept "No country has the right to torture.” At the time, it created public alarm in various countries and had a large impact in the international media.

Results:

The campaign received considerable media coverage, and in addition, within the first month of its release, Amnesty International gained more than 1,000 new member applications.
